Some months ago I blogged about the engaging payment of a fee (GEZ) for having a computer with access to the internet. I've got the feeling that at least some polititians in Germany will change their mind on that fee, especially since taking the initiative by the members of the christian democratic party.
On monday I read an article of golem.de, which reports Harry Carstensen, the prime minister of Schleswig-Holstein, to argue against these obscure GEZ fees, too. But the only argument he contributes to the ongoing discussion is the fact, that the public broadcasting services still don't offer their whole program via stream.
Hence, of course, the fees would be ok, if ARD, ZDF and the other ones provided all their stuff on the net
. I still miss the point I mentioned in my last blog entry on this topic: what, if I don't want to see all their fucking stuff? If they're afraid I could watch their content, they shall stop providing it on the net!
